Some roads you need to take alone!

London

Coldplay’s “Feels Like I’m Falling in Love” is playing on Virgin Radio, and it feels amazing. Sometimes I wonder how people tap into their passion to create something like this. Itā€™s such a beautiful song, born from someoneā€™s thoughts, followed by finding the time to sit down, put those ideas on paper, sing, experiment with different versions, and then finalize it with the perfect edits.

One of the responsibilities we have to ourselves is to discover our passion. What are you good at? What do you love doing? What activity makes time feel like it doesnā€™t exist? What can you do for hours without feeling tired? Ask yourself these questions.

Iā€™m not sure if itā€™s good or bad, but for better or worse, I love to write. Some days I sit down and manage to publish something by the end of the day, while other days I just stare at the screen for hours, feeling stuck. People call it writerā€™s block, but I donā€™t believe in that. You just have to follow your instincts and write whatever comes to mind in the moment. Those blank pages are empty spaces where I can put anything I want. For example, Iā€™m planning to explore some affiliate programs and start publishing on those.

Find your passion in life, and even just being aware of it will bring you closer to it. Donā€™t chase money endlesslyā€”focus on having enough to meet your needs, and give the rest away. It doesnā€™t matter how much; if you can’t give money, then give your time, a helping hand, or a kind word. Avoid spreading negativity or gossip. If it crosses your path, let it pass like water without letting it disturb your inner peace.

Coldplay’s “Feels Like I’m Falling in Love” Lyrics..

“I know that this could hurt me bad I know that this could feel like that But I just can’t stop Let my defences drop

I know that I was born to kill Any angel on my windowsill But it’s so dark inside I throw the windows wide

I know, la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la I know, la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la Still, I don’t let go And fields of flowers grow

Oh, it feels like I’m fallin’ in love Maybe for the first time Baby, it’s my mind you blow

It feels like I’m fallin’ in love You’re throwin’ me a lifeline And this is for a lifetime, I know

I know that in this kind of scene Of two people, there’s a spark between One gets torn apart One gets a broken heart

Ooh, ooh Ooh (feels like) Whoa

It feels like I’m fallin’ in love You’re throwin’ me a lifeline Oh, now for the first time I know I’m not alone

Ah-la-la, la-la, lo-lee-lo Ah-la-la, la-la, lo-lee-lo Ah-la-la, la-la, lo-lee-lo, oh Ah-la-la, la-la, lo-lee-lo Ah-la-la, la-la, lo-lee-lo Ah-la-la, la-la, lo-lee-lo, oh”

Woke up early today without an alarm on, I intentionally did not put the alarm on, I was off today from work, and I know I will wake up whenever but I will still be on time.

I just got variedly carried away watching flipping through social media, one thing we have to stop is to flip the life away on social media before it gets into a habit.

I woke up early and read a few verses from Surah Kahf while still in bed, followed by some affirmations. After sending a good morning dua to my family on WhatsApp, I went to the bathroom. When I returned, I sat on the edge of the bed and meditated on 25 affirmations. Then, I received a text from a friend saying, “Morning Ash and Axxx! Iā€™ve made it to Harpenden! See you later!

I texted back, Good mor Kxxxx, The Sun is shining, and it’s a beautiful day here. Hope it’s the same there. See you later.

I initially planned to go for a run but decided to head to the gym instead, arriving around 7:30 AM. I had an excellent workout, focusing on my upper body with 4 sets of 11 reps of pull-ups, followed by 4 sets of squats and barbell bench presses. After getting home, I took a shower, ironed my white shirt, and put on my light brown chocolate-coloured suit.

I left home and walked to Piccadilly Circus Station, then took the train directly to Kingā€™s Cross St. Pancras. When I arrived, I went to get my tickets but was faced with a long line. I checked the tickets online yesterday and wondered why I hadnā€™t completed the purchase. I guess it was because I didn’t want to download the app on my phone.

While I was in line, a couple kindly let me go ahead of them. Then, when I asked a lady if I could move ahead since I needed to get to a wedding, she graciously allowed me to pass. Bless her!

From Kingscross station, I had to get out, cross the road and go the St Pancras Station for domestic trains

King’s Cross Station was constructed by the Great Northern Railway (GNR) as the London terminus for its line to York, opening in 1852. St. Pancras Station, built by the Midland Railway Company (MRC), served as the terminus for their lines from Derby and opened in 1868.

The ride from London to St Albans was easy and smooth, taking about 30 minutes. Once I arrived, I checked Google Maps for the St Albans Registry Office, which was less than a 5-minute walk awayā€”just across the road. A few friends and I were planning to meet up at 11:30, and I arrived right on time.

As soon as I arrived, I saw my friend, the bride, getting ready. She looked absolutely stunning, and we exchanged hellos.

I just devoured half a pack of custard cream biscuits. Before taking the first bite, I told myself, “If you start, you’ll finish the whole thing, so better not.” But I got carried away and ended up putting my typing aside to munch on them all. I canā€™t help but wonder how people manage to control themselves and say no to things… lol!

A few minutes later, one of my female friends joined, and I was glad to see her. So far, it was just the two of us from work. The wedding was beautifulā€”my best friend, the bride, had only met the groom four months ago, but they fell head over heels in love and now theyā€™re married. After every date she went on, sheā€™d tell me all the details. There was one time when I wasnā€™t sure about a guy she was meeting, so I escorted her to the date. Something about him gave me funny vibes, so I waited outside until she was done with dinner. Turns out, he didnā€™t even drop her back at the station, and she was relieved I had waited.

Anyway, my friend is married now, and they both looked so happyā€”it was wonderful to see them find their perfect match. I believe everyone has someone out there for them. When you find “the one,” you just know in your heart that they’re meant for you. You just need to hold on and wait for the right time. If you truly believe that, your moment will come too. And donā€™t forget, Iā€™m here for you, just as I am now, and Iā€™ll always be there for you. Take my hand, and weā€™ll make it together… just kidding! (Singing: ā€œOh, oh, weā€™re halfway there!ā€)

More friends joined us later at the wedding, and afterwards, we went to a nearby pub for the reception. We enjoyed lunch and a few drinks, and some of us stayed a bit longer to catch up. I caught the train back to London around 4:30 PM, and the day flew by faster than I expected.

I believe that human existence has been defined by finding partners, procreating, fulfilling lifeā€™s purpose, and leaving behind future generations. Humanity has thrived like this for millions of years. Cultures and traditions have risen and fallen, but love and the bond between two people have endured throughout time. Literature and philosophy often remind us that we come into this world alone and take nothing with us when we leave. However, we can leave behind something meaningfulā€”perhaps children, a legacy, or good deeds. If nothing else, I hope to leave my writings and positive vibes for everyone, filled with good intentions for all.

Around the world today –

  • The world’s first RoboTaxi has been unveiled today by Tesla.

  • Lithuania has installed ā€œdragonā€™s teethā€ anti-tank barriers on bridges connecting the country to Russia. These reinforced concrete structures, first used during World War II, are part of a defence strategy that includes fortified positions and firepower to deter potential Russian attacks.

  • A Japanese grassroots movement of atomic bomb survivors was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2024 ā€œfor its efforts to achieve a world free of nuclear weapons and for demonstrating through witness testimony that nuclear weapons must never be used again

3 things I felt grateful for today –

  • Grateful for the transport system in London and the train services in the UK. I left home at 10:45 AM from Piccadilly Circus, took the Piccadilly line, and then switched to Great Western Rail to St Albans. I didnā€™t have to touch a door or anything else and arrived at the wedding without a single wrinkle in my shirt.

  • Grateful to see my friend find the perfect partner. When they exchanged their wedding vows, I could truly see and feel the love they had for each other.

  • Grateful I my friend gave me a lift in her car from the wedding place to the reception put about 15 min drive..Ā

What would it take for me and for you to wake up 10 x times bigger, thicker, more energetic, confident, healthy, happy, richer, weather, happier, wake up early, make it workout in the morning, have a good workout get, everything to be okay with family, friends and everyone around then have a relaxing, relaxing, relaxing yet a productive day tomorrow?
