There’s nothing like a bit of a motivation to get you starting your week right, so I thought I’d share what I’ve been working on myself…
Β When people ask how I manage my time, they are asking the wrong question.
About Us
The problem with “time management” is that it’s a 200+ year old approach that focuses on what we need to DO β not on what we want to ACHIEVE. It’s completely backwards.Β Think about it: many people spend days, weeks, months, years of their lives crossing items off a to-do list, but remain unfulfilled. These people are mistakingΒ movementΒ forΒ actionΒ β they may be “busy” but they aren’t making real progress on the things that matter most to them. The fact is, you can’t make a plan for your time until you have a plan for your LIFE. And once you have a plan and purpose for your life, you can make sure that your daily actions align with that ultimate vision.
The right question is not “How do I manage my time?β β
How can I live a FULFILLED and EXTRAORDINARY life, and make sure my actions align with my ULTIMATE purpose?”
A lot of the times we get stuck because we don’t believe we can achieve them.
Or we just realised that it’s possible but way too difficult.
