London

Sitting at the desk, just had a banana shake, with dried fruits and thank soya milk my friend left, there is a full glass of water on my desk, the candle is lit, far outside the siren of the police car going fast, outside general noise is sshhshshhh wind very cold outside with 2 degrees.

I woke up this morning to the sight of snow falling outside. A friend who had stayed over called me to the window, and the view was breathtaking. I told him how glad I was to share this moment, experiencing the first snowfall of the year together. It was a truly joyful feeling.

Both of us had to go into the office tomorrow, I said, it’s snowing nobody expects you to be on time and I was chilled, my mate rushed off and I got to work and most people were already there.

Wore a white shirt, a blue jumper, and sky-blue trousers.. fitting felt comfortable, and it was okay to bike outside, but the snow didn’t stay, it melted away, so the roads are good. The work day went well, one meeting in the morning, broke for lunch at 12:35, and there were thousands of farmers protesting over the inheritance tax recently announced in the budget. It was so many people, I was on my bike going from one building to another, I was too busy enjoying the rain, then had fish, then attended the fair at 14:00 to 15:00 sat at the desk, walked back to the desk and it was so cold, decided to get a coffee and this lady offered a fish, and I couldn’t say no, and I said yes, I just wanted to get a hot tea.. sat down to eat at 14:30 went back to the desk, and did some work.

The afternoon at work went smoothly focused on completing invoices. Later, an old friend invited me to dinner at the Civil Servants Club. We walked thereβ€”it’s a lovely spot near Trafalgar Square. Despite the cold, the walk was enjoyable. I had a few drinks and had a long catch-up with an early supper around 17:45 and it was already dark outside. Walked back home and there were so many people outside still, this time just enjoying themselves…

Around the world today –

  • It has been 1,000 days since Russia’s invasion, where brave Ukrainians have inspired the world while enduring heartbreaking loss, bloodshed, and the devastating toll of war. Russia! Please STOP!

  • After weeks of Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilians and residential areas, Ukraine used long-range US missiles to strike a military base in Russia.

  • Thousands gathered in New Zealand’s capital to protest a Bill redefining Maori rights, the largest protest in the country’s history. Governments, vote ask ask what people want before making changes to policies and upsetting people, give more benefits to people and make them happy.

3 things I felt grateful for –

  • Grateful for all places within walking distance of me right now.

  • Grateful had a quick catch-up with dear mother and brother and hearts to Dad and Sis’es text during the day today.

  • Grateful for the time to sit down and finish writing tonight before midnight.

What would it take for me and for you to wake up more connected and focused to the goals, wake up healthy, and happy, make it workout in the morning, have a good workout, start work on time, and have everything okay with family, friends and everyone around then have a relaxing, relaxing, relaxing yet a productive day tomorrow?
