Motivate yourself!

βBe the Light
Set the goals.
Clear the path ahead so you can see where youβre going.
The work is stacking higher,
life is quietly slipping past,
and the things you meant to do are still sitting there, waiting.
Before itβs too late,
start again.
Give yourself a new beginning,
a clear mind,
and steps that take you straight where you need to go.
The old Vipassana taught by the Buddha was simple β
Watch your breath,
donβt judge,
let your thoughts pass like clouds in the sky.
The modern Vipassana is different β
Watch your habits,
Watch your time,
and notice where it all disappears without you even realising.
Back then, after days of breath,
youβd feel a tingling under the nose.
Now, itβs about clearing the clutter,
cutting away the noise,
putting the phone down,
stopping the endless scroll,
and stepping away from the people whose words only bring you down.
Buddha meditated for 49 days and found enlightenment.
We live in a world thatβs faster, louder,
full of easy pleasures and empty distractions,
where itβs easier to get lost and harder to find yourself again.
Maybe God is the only one who can truly help β
but maybe that help has been inside you all along.
You just have to look,
find it,
and pull it out into the open.
Be the light you seek.β
3 things I felt grateful for today
For a good workout this morning before work, 4 sets of 11 reps of pull-ups, shoulder presses, dumbbell front raises, lateral raises, hammer curls, and bicep curls.
Grateful spoke to parents in the afternoon, both okay, Dad was napping, and Mother spoke about her sisters.
Grateful, I made a list of things that I need to get done this coming weekend, the feel of anticipation.
What would it take for me and for you to wake up 10 x times bigger, thicker, energitic confident, mindful, wake up early, make it to the gym have a good workout, start work on time, everything to be okay with family, friends and everyone around then have a relaxing, relaxing, relaxing, yet a producitve day tomorrow?
Goodnight, good luck!
