London
Wonder how the post from yesterday and today, I usually copy the date and format from the yesterdays post when I start to write, and the time I sit down some how fluctuates only to a few mintues everyday, yesteday it was 23:40 and today I sat down to write at 23:44.. I guesss if you keep the consistency in doing a partucualr task your body clock remembers and makes time for that task to be completed in a day.
Perhaps they are called as habits. which are behaviors that are triggered automatically, allowing us to engage in them without conscious thought or intentional control. While habits enable us to function efficiently, breaking them demands significant effort.
Yes, wiritng is a habit, sitting down at one place at one time every day is a habit. Habits can shape your character because they stem from the actions and behaviors you consistently repeat. The research suggests on average it takes 66 days to build and devel a habit.
So hang in there, dear friends—whether you’re trying to move on from someone, establish a regular gym routine, train your dog to follow commands, or get your family accustomed to a weekly call at the same time. Just stick with it and push yourself for 66 days, and you’ll likely develop the new habit you’re aiming for.
Woke up early today, wfh, but doing my own stuff.. I actually booked my AL but still logged in for a few hours, trying to get some ad hoc work done.
Went to the gym around 10:30, did 4 x sets of 10 reps of pull-ups, 20 kgs dumbbell shoulder presses, lateral raises and front raises.. Had a shower and left for home. The Sun was out and it was quiet a mild day today.
You think you’re so pretty lyrics by Laid is playing on the radio., I feel really good right now.. Cheers to all the people who are feeling down.
“This bed is on fire with passionate love The neighbors complain about the noises above But she only comes when she’s on top
… My therapist said not to see you no more She said you’re like a disease without any cure She said I’m so obsessed that I’m becoming a bore, oh no
… Ah, you think you’re so pretty
… Caught your hand inside the till Slammed your fingers in the door Fought with kitchen knives and skewers Dressed me up in women’s clothes Messed around with gender roles Line my eyes and call me pretty
… Moved out of the house so you moved next door I locked you out, you cut a hole in the wall I found you sleeping next to me, I thought I was alone You’re driving me crazy, when are you coming home?”
At 13:15, after performing Wudu, I walked to the Soho Mosque for Friday prayers. I found a spot outside on the road and was glad I had brought my prayer mat. I placed it vertically and shared it with two other people. The Salah went peacefully under the sun, even as people from the nearby restaurants on busy Berwick Street sat, ate, and watched us.
didn’t feel like eating much today and spent most of the day at my desk, grinding through life. To my surprise, my parents called me together around 3:30 PM. Usually, I catch up with them individually, but it was nice to have a video call from both of them at an unexpected time, and it really lifted my spirits. I was glad I was wearing that white t-shirt—Dad couldn’t stop giving blessings, saying, “May God give all my children happiness. All we want is to see you happy, eat well, don’t stress, forget everything, and live in peace.”
No matter what happens, family is the one constant in life, the special bond that remains through thick and thin. To those holding grudges against their families, I ask you to forgive and forget. Yes, family can sometimes drive you mad, but a little drama is a part of life that we all need.
Let go of all the negative emotions and memories you hold toward them—release them completely. Your emotions are stored in your body as thoughts, and when a bad memory arises, simply acknowledge it without reacting or getting angry. Remember, those events happened long ago, and you’ve kept them alive all these years. Now is the time to free yourself and move on.
