Say what you mean. Do what you say.

Happy Birthday to you Dear Pappa, Happy birthday to dear Pappa.. 70 years.
I woke up early and was at my desk by 7:30 AM, diving into the minutes from Tuesday’s meeting. I spent most of the day working from home and snacking on a lot of food. The sun was out for a while, but then the weather turned gloomy and dark, though it stayed mild.
I listened to some old classic songs. There used to be a mystery, a sense of love, something that attracted me to the music. For some reason, these days the songs feel so superficial.
I spoke to Dad at 8:10 AM, which was already midday for him. He was working on the flat above, and we had a quick catch-up. He mentioned that Sis, Bro, and Nephew had called him at midnight while he was asleep. He was really pleased; a lot of people called to wish him a happy birthday, and he said that having his family reach out for his 70th was all he could want. I doubt he needs anything else for the day.
I submitted my work at 17:01 and did not move from the desk until then. I had a text from work asking how I was doing, and a missed call from my mother, asking if I had breakfast. I called her back while I packed my bag for tomorrow’s work. We had a brief catch-up; she was talking about the neighbors.
I took a nap for a while and then went for a long run. Surprisingly, I felt energetic during the run. I started from Piccadilly, passing by Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall Road, St. James’s Park, behind Westminster Abbey, along Church Street, over Lambeth Bridge, and finally down the stairs by the COVID Memorial Wall on my right. My eyes were narrowed in full concentration during the run, and as I looked at the wall, all I could see were thousands of red hearts and nothing else.
I need to wake up early, but I don’t feel like sleeping right now. What should I do? I’m feeling hot; I’m probably going to take my trousers off… lol. My brother moved into a new home today. Sending him love and wishing him an easy move to the new place.
Three things I felt grateful for today:
-
Grateful for finishing the minutes on Wednesday evening. There were times in the past when the same monthly work kept me sitting, not moving, for three days non-stop.
-
Grateful for catching up with both parents today.
-
Grateful I spent a lot of time writing, and now I’m going to bed.
Around the world today
what would it take for me and for you to wake up 10 x times thicker, bigger, stronger, more energetic, confident, make it workout in the morning and then get to work on time, everything to be fine with family and friends and everyone around, then have a relaxing, relaxing, relaxing, yet a productive day tomorrow..
Goodnight, good luck!
