Avoid those who disrupt your inner peace and read!

London

It’s a beautiful day outside – warm, mild, and peaceful. Everything feels calm and relaxing right now.

Earlier this morning, I felt a bit off, but that feeling passed. Now, even though it’s Sunday night and work starts tomorrow, I feel at ease. It feels like I’m in a good place.

I woke up early today after a good night’s sleep. It was quite warm last night, so I left the window half open. I wasn’t sure about it at first, but I’m glad I did – it felt refreshing in the morning.

It’s just past 10 PM now. I already had dinner earlier, but I’m waiting for a pot of soup to finish cooking. As I sit here, I’ve been thinking about reading. We’re moving from reading books to just scrolling through apps, but we shouldn’t forget about all the incredible literature that’s still available to us.

The key is to dive into it. There’s a huge, amazing world of stories, ideas, and knowledge out there. If you don’t explore it, you’ll miss out on the magic that books can offer.

Reading just the news every day isn’t enough. If all you get is headlines and weekly summaries, you’re not really connecting with deeper ideas. You need to find something that speaks to you, that excites you. If it doesn’t, then keep looking – it just means it’s not the right fit for you yet.

Literature is massive and beautiful. And if you can read in more than one language, your access to it becomes even richer. So, go out there and enjoy it – it’s a world worth discovering.

I’m heading to bed now..

Three things I felt grateful for today:–

  • Thankful for the solid workout this morning: 3 sets of 11 reps on the incline shoulder press, flat bench, hammer curls, and some focused ab work on the machine.

  • Grateful that life feels steady right now – things are flowing at a calm, manageable pace.

  • Grateful for this small but thoughtful gift from my brother—a phone holder that now lives on my desk, quietly useful.

What would it take for you and me to wake up early tomorrow, have a good workout, start work on time, and have everything go smoothly with family, friends, and everyone around? Then, have a relaxing yet productive day tomorrow filled with a lot of reading.
