Never complain. Stay silent, find a solution!

London
The last time I really sat down to reflect was on March 31st when I made my last post. Since then, it’s just been nonstop – rush after rush, thoughts racing, sorting things out, worrying, pausing to breathe… then feeling completely overwhelmed.
Now I’m back in London, sitting in a new flat in Mayfair. It was sunny this morning, but the evening got chilly. I was chatting with a friend earlier—he’s back home in Poland, and he said it snowed there today. Can you believe that? In April! It was 6 degrees but felt like -2. Wild.
This morning, I actually woke up feeling fresh. I kept snoozing the alarm until about 8:30, but when I finally got up, the sun was pouring through both windows next to my bed. It was a beautiful, peaceful start to the day. I can’t see anyone from those windows, though. I’m on the third floor, and even though the bedroom has a view, I’ve turned that room into my office. I spend most of my time in the living room instead.
I just returned after spending the last three months caring for my mum. She’s finished her eighth chemo session as of March 28th. In two weeks, she’ll start radiation. It’s been intense. Just before I came back, I got a notice from my old landlord in Chancery Lane – they got planning permission to renovate, so I had to move out.
And just like that, life took another sharp turn.
The letting agent sent me photos of this new flat, and a friend went to check it out for me. Somehow, it all worked out. Honestly, I can’t believe I ended up here. Even if it’s just temporary, I’m so grateful for this space – for the peace, the solitude, and the stillness it offers.
Now, it’s time to focus. Meditate. Let go. Let go of all the negativity, all the grudges, all the emotions that drain you. Let go of the memories that weigh you down. Let go of relationships that no longer feel right. Focus. Really focus. Channel your mind toward that one thing that moves you closer to your bigger purpose.
That’s what I’m aiming for – with this mission of world peace in my heart.
Right now, “A Little Less Conversation” by Elvis Presley is playing on Virgin Radio, and honestly – it feels like the perfect soundtrack to all of this. As I sit here and write, the lyrics just hit different:
“A little less conversation, a little more action please… All this aggravation ain’t satisfactioning me…”
It’s funny how music can echo what you’re feeling without you even realizing it.
Anyway, before I wrap this up, here are 3 things I felt truly grateful for today:
Grateful for a long phone call with my mum this evening—it felt warm and grounding.
Grateful for how smoothly everything has gone with setting up the new place.
Grateful for this little radio beside me—it’s become a bit of a companion through it all.
And here’s a little thought to end the night:
What would it take—for me and for you—to wake up tomorrow feeling ten times stronger, more energetic, confident, and joyful? To start the week with a light heart, with work going well, and everything with family, friends, and life feeling okay again? To have a day that’s both relaxing and productive? then have a relaxing, relaxing, relaxing, yet a productive day tomorrow?
Whatever it is—we’re getting there.
