I woke up at 5:00 AM. My first alarm went off at 4:50, the second at 5:00, and the final one at 5:45. At 4:50, I tossed and turned, and by the second alarm, I sat up. By 5:45, I finished meditating and got ready for the gym.
Today, waking up felt surprisingly light, even though I went to bed a little later than usualβ11:45 instead of 11:30. I thought about going back to bed, but then I decided to sit anyway. The orange sun was just rising, and it made my room glow a soft salmon pink.
I know it takes about 66 days to form a habit. I havenβt been consistently waking up early, meditating, and going to the gym before starting work at 8:00 AM. But I do all these things from a place of love. I genuinely enjoy them and want to show up for them regularly.
Three things Iβm grateful for today:
-
My laptop
-
Access to the internet
-
Unlimited electricity
Three happy moments from my day:
-
Walking into a Super Mario-sponsored party in Vauxhall this evening
-
Stepping out of the pool after a swim and feeling HUGE, saying βthank youβ over and over in my heart
-
Eating Carbonara for dinner at the Vauxhall Comedy Club
Three steps to get closer to my goals:
What would it take for me and you to wake up fully aligned to our goals and have an extremely productive day tomorrow without any distractions?
Goodnight and good luck!
