Alarm when off at 5, but did not feel like waking up… I had got ready to go to the gym this morning but the bed felt the right thing.. I try and wake up a little early usually and put my headphone on with my chosen meditation and go back to sleep and wake up when the alarm goes of… Today I did not feel like listening to meditation this morning probably after many many months.. Wonder how I felt the change.. If this happens one more time, I shall send my brain a failure message..Â
I will tell you how you can send a message to your brain.. I read this from the book by Stuart Lichtman’s: “How to Make Lots of Money for Anything Fast … Stuart talks about building good habits and if you want your mind to record what it means good for you and what you don’t consider as good.Â
So the exercise is – Make a list of Success and Failure of your day..Â
Example – My today’sÂ
Success ListÂ
– Slept so well, woke up feeling great (Success)Â
– Got to work on time (Success)Â
– Ate so well and healthy today (Success)Â
– Went to the gym (Success)Â
– Made dinner at home (Success)Â
– Spoke to family (Success)Â
My Failure listÂ
– I got a little angry with the cleaning thing with my flatmate today. (Failure)Â
– I didn’t manage my stress at work either when I totally could have taken a break (Failure)Â
That’s it.. I can’t think of anything else.. So if you make a list of your Success and failures of the day and read them all again when you are done and either write Success or Failure next to it or say it loud, your brain will get what message you have been trying to send.Â
I have practiced this exercise soooo many times. if you do it for many days, there will come a day that you won’t have any failures in your day at all.. even those little embarrassing situations we encounter..Â
And if you realize that you are having many failures in your day, start the exercise straight away..Â

– I am grateful for being able to listen to music.Â
– I am grateful for having this little radio, the signals, the technology etc..Â
– I am grateful for the air I am breathing right now..Â
3 x Happy moments of my dayÂ
– I felt happy and grateful while I walked to work the Sun was bright and right on my face.Â
– I felt so happy when I ate earlier some really yum food I cooked with eggs and ate watching Anthony Bourdains episode of TanzaniaÂ
– I felt happy and grateful when I walked home from the gym and went into this little shop to buy some biscuits. Â
1 x Act of kindness today
– Held the door to a bunch of people at the gym.Â
