Stay aware!

London

The day has just started, my fellow human beingsโ€ฆ

Itโ€™s just past midnight. Someone outside just said, โ€œUooooooโ€ฆโ€ There are still noises outside. My neighbour, who I can see right in front of my window, is still sitting at his desk too. Far down Russell Square Road, itโ€™s still busy. Thereโ€™s a slow wind blowing and a soft โ€œshhhhโ€ sound in the background. The weather is very, very mild โ€“ not cold, not hot, just slightly chirpy. I think I may have just heard a train, probably the Underground, passing by.

It feels so good, feeling like being connected to everything and everyone.

With this vibration, I send you all my hugs! From now on, I want you to feel good every time I say, โ€œFeeling good!โ€

Iโ€™m sitting at the desk, the candle is on, and Iโ€™ve just finished doing Tasbih 1,000 times of:

Rabbi innฤซ limฤ anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqฤซr

โ€œMy Lord, I am truly in need of whatever good You may send me.โ€

Both my dear, loving mother and my sister recommended this to me. Mum said to do it at least 100 times, while my sister said to do it as many times as you can in a day.

Feeling goodโ€ฆ

My neck is hurting slightly. It needs some rest, which Iโ€™ll give it soon. It was a good day today.

Woke up early, feeling good. I was on the right side of the bed. Started with Bismillah, then a ruku of Surah Kahf, then affirmations in bed, and then Dadโ€™s good morning prayer message.

The weather was nice outside. I got a text from a mate saying he had just walked his dog. He said:

โ€œAnother pleasant and warm day. Apart from a single jogger, no one was out and about today. I really enjoy the solitary peace of the early morning. โ€˜Far from the madding crowd.โ€™ Have a great day.โ€

I replied:

โ€œGood morning. No solitary peace is ever here, but itโ€™s a beautiful day. Some loud flight is passing by nowโ€ฆโ€

I left home around 08:00 to go to the gym. The road was already getting busy downstairs by then.

At the Covent Garden Oasis Centre, I had a decent workout. I did three sets of 11 reps of pull-ups, then it was arms day. I did EZ-bar curls, rope hammer curls, close-grip incline bench presses, and two sets of drop sets of abs on the machine.

Feeling good.

There was this girl there with big eyes. I see her most days. I feel like her eyes are hanging, but she looks nice. She usually only does the rocking machine.

At reception, the guy with the mark nicely said hello when I walked in.

The third person I saw was an older guy who came over and asked me how many more sets I had left on the rope hammer curls.

I said, โ€œJust one last one, about 20 seconds.โ€

She sat there just looking, with no rush at all. This one is tougher, so take your time. I said, โ€œItโ€™s all yours after the drop set.โ€

Had a shower. There was someone else in the shower area and he nodded too. Apart from the girl with the big eyes, everyone said hello in the morning.

Had my shower, returned home and, oh God, I found myself rushing then.

I got back home and got dressed in a light blue shirt, blue trousers and shoes, all quite formal for work. But then the weather didnโ€™t really match. The weather was mild, and itโ€™s Wednesday, so I didnโ€™t want to look too formal.

At the last minute, I changed my shirt to a checked one with dark blue and purple, with slightly faded pale colours. It was perfect for the cloudy, mild weather. It matched the trousers, and the shoes were also coordinated in colour, just like my mate Andy once said when he liked the colours.

Work day went well.

I had lunch at 13:30 โ€“ tuna salad. Logged off work around 18:00, came home and took a nap.

For dinner, I got a bag from Too Good To Go nearby. It was some kind of roast chicken salad box, but it was actually full of rice. It was alright.

Now Iโ€™m sitting down to write.

3 thing I felt grateful for today

  • Was grateful that only stayed at the gym fro about 45 mintues but all sets were done properly .

  • very grateful for an active and non complaining day.

  • Grateful Iโ€™ve got a comfortable bed waiting for me on the side.

What would it take for me, and for you, to wake up 10 times bigger, thicker, more energetic, confident, happy, grateful, muscular and leaner, to wake up energetic and happy, get up early, get to work on time, feel fresh, have everything okay with family, friends and everyone around us, and then have a relaxing, relaxing, relaxing yet productive day tomorrow?
