Slowing our breath helps to calm the nervous system, which in turn naturally quiets the mind, making it easier to focus and reducing distractions. There are different ways to become more aware of your breathing, such as timing each breath or touching your knee, stomach, and forehead while breathing mindfully. You can also focus on the air entering and exiting your nostrils, feeling that mysterious, unseen life force called Prana—the breath of life, the essence of the soul.
Your pleasure is ultimately your responsibility, encompassing both your physical and mental well-being. When you focus on improving your health and building physical strength, you’re also enhancing your ability to manage your mood and mental state daily. Taking care of your body is key, as it serves as the foundation for your happiness and vitality. For instance, if you want to increase your sexual energy, it’s essential to eat nutrient-rich foods, especially those high in protein, and engage in regular exercise. It’s simple logic: the more energy you cultivate, the more you’ll have to use.
However, self-control is crucial—maintaining balance is what prevents you from losing yourself in the process. There’s no need for extreme restraint or suppression, but it’s important to act with intention and awareness. In the beginning of a relationship, we often ignite excitement and pleasure in each other, but over time, if we aren’t mindful, we can drain each other’s energy. Instead of being sources of joy, we risk becoming each other’s emotional prisoners, trapped in patterns that fuel dissatisfaction rather than connection. True fulfillment comes from fostering an environment where people around us can thrive, rather than one where they deplete each other.
This is the essence of the wisdom of non-duality. As long as we are cultivating a deep, universal wisdom that brings light to our existence, the specific tools or methods we choose are secondary. What truly matters is the clarity that you alone are responsible for your personal growth and the expansion of your awareness. In this state, great bliss and wisdom arise naturally and spontaneously.
Anything that genuinely supports your growth is beneficial, even if it defies societal norms or expectations. After all, society is built on a dualistic framework, with rigid beliefs and philosophies that can often leave you feeling more confused than enlightened. In the end, you are responsible for your evolution. As long as you are not causing harm to yourself—whether psychologically or physically—or hurting any other sentient being, why should anyone else’s opinion matter?
Your journey is yours to navigate. You bear the responsibility for your karma, your healing, and nurturing your inner self, the vulnerable child within. What society, family, or others think you should do is irrelevant. What truly counts is how aligned you are with your own inner growth and self-care. You must choose the path that allows you to expand, learn, and thrive—free from the weight of external judgments.
Yes, your pleasure is your responsibility!
On the other hand, don’t fall into the trap of believing that happiness comes solely from external things or experiences. True happiness originates from within. It’s important to remember that you don’t always have to perform or conform in your relationships. Be strong and honest with yourself, even if you don’t align with society’s standards. However, this strength shouldn’t come at the expense of others. We must avoid causing harm and cultivate hearts that are big enough to accept and embrace all kinds of people, regardless of our differences.
“Let us dedicate the merit we find, For the rest of our lives, with open hearts and minds. May we nurture our commitment, strong and true, Applying great effort in all that we do.
In mindfulness and breathing, let our spirits soar, Achieving success, we’ll strive evermore. Through our journeys of growth, let us share the light, Spreading positive energy, making the world bright.
For in this connection, together we’ll rise, Bringing peace and bliss to the vast, open skies. As one universal community, hand in hand, We’ll create a tapestry of love across the land.”
3 things I felt grateful for today
Grateful for the great workout this morning I had before logging in to work from home, I did 4 sets of 10 reps of pull-ups, dumbbell shoulder presses, and lateral raises only but good ones.
Grateful after work, took the long train to Haggerstone East London to go pick up a bike which was sold online and it turned out to be the best bike I had ever.. so fast, so smooth.
Grateful on my way back home from East London, I stopped and walked around the beautiful Regents Canal, I used to walk with my friend Chase in 2017 in that area, and bought memories..
What would it take for me and for you to wake up 10 x times more aligned with our goals and fully motivated to take action, feel healthy, happy, wealthy, energetic, confident, make it to workout in the morning, have a good workout, get to work on time and day to go well, and everything to be okay with family friends and everyone around us, and then have a relaxing, relaxing, relaxing yet a productive day tomorrow?
