Being single is much better than being in the wrong relationship!

1342 – 4 seconds) Sunday, 27 April 2025 00:08

London

I don’t know where the “4 seconds” mentioned in the title came from, but I’m leaving it there. It’s just after midnight now. When you publish something at midnight, it can feel like it either belongs to the day before or the new day.

I’m still writing about Saturday. Most of Saturday wasn’t productive — I ended up doing things that weren’t really important.

I’m asking myself:

  • How can I avoid getting caught up with other people and just focus on my work?

  • How can I be more responsible with my time?

  • How can I truly take ownership of my time?

  • How can I actually finish all the tasks I plan to complete?

  • How can I feel fully motivated and complete everything I set out to do?

  • How can I let go of all negativity and reach that point of sharp focus?

I keep reminding myself: Focus. Motivated. Aligned. (Repeated multiple times for emphasis.)

“Focus Motivated Aligned

Focus Motivated Aligned

Focus Motivated Aligned

Focus Motivated Aligned

Focus Motivated Aligned

Focus Motivated Aligned”

Focus means knowing exactly what you’re working on right now — whether it’s related to work, life, or personal needs. Focusing on one thing moves you closer to success. Concentrated thoughts have the power to create anything.

Motivation is what gets you up in the morning — to study, to go to work, or to hit the gym. Everyone needs some kind of motivation to guide them through life.

Alignment means being focused and motivated, moving straight toward your goal, whatever it is and however long it takes to get there.

I woke up early today without needing an alarm, with Astagfaar on my lips. I slept well, felt energetic and active, and sent positive energy to everything around me. I read my affirmations while still in bed. I have two days off this weekend and I’m hoping to finish a few tasks I’ve been thinking about.

Today is my mother’s second pint blood transfusion. I can’t be with my family, but I’m sending my love and keeping a close eye on how things are going.

My main goals for the weekend are to update the website and tidy up the house.

Went to the gym around 8:30 AM. It was bright and sunny outside, it was still early, the streets around Green Park were already getting busy. At the gym, I did an upper body workout — 4 sets of 11 reps each: pull-ups, shoulder presses, dumbbell bench presses, hammer curls, and lateral raises. It was a solid one-hour workout, followed by a good shower.

It felt great being outside, but I just came home to rest and focus on my work. phoned brother to catch up — he was with nephew Hamd, so we switched to a video call. Then my dad joined in from the hospital — he was sitting outside while my mother and sister were inside for the procedure. We chatted about how the weekend was shaping up. Mother’s sister is visiting tomorrow to cheer her up, which should lift her spirits.

By 11:20 AM, I found myself at my desk — and from there, the day kind of just drifted… doing a bit of this and that, a little productive, a little distracted.

I kept finding small things to do, then working on my main tasks. If I finish my main task, I have two more lined up, and honestly, I’m excited to complete all three. I can already imagine how good it’ll feel: — Finishing the website update — happy. — Completing the second website — relieved. — Finishing the draft of the book update — relieved again. After that, it’ll be time to set up Google Ads on the pages.

Then comes ClickBank training, and meanwhile, Excel — which has a one-month deadline — and after that, Python… When will I finish all these?

What would it take for me to manage my weekend time really well?

This is where my mind is — busy, always thinking about what’s next. Meanwhile, for everyone taking a break this weekend and following their passions, I wish you lots of happiness.

Around the world today –

  • As of Sunday, April 27, 2025, the Russia-Ukraine war remains intense and complex: Peace negotiations are ongoing but face significant hurdles, including Russia’s insistence on retaining Crimea and Ukraine’s firm refusal to cede any territory. Russia has acknowledged the involvement of North Korean troops in combat operations, particularly in the Kursk region, marking a notable development in the conflict. (Business Insider).

  • the Israel-Hamas war continues with significant developments: Ceasefire negotiations have seen some progress, with Hamas expressing willingness for a five-year truce and the release of all Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners and a complete Israeli withdrawal from Gaza; however, Israel insists on Hamas’s disarmament, a condition Hamas rejects. The conflict has extended beyond Gaza, as Israel conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in southern Beirut following evacuation warnings, highlighting escalating regional tensions. (Reuters)

  • AI in Scientific Research: Researchers introduced “The AI Scientist-v2,” an autonomous system capable of formulating hypotheses, conducting experiments, and authoring scientific papers without human intervention.

Three things I felt grateful for today:

  • I felt grateful this morning while packing my backpack — everything fit perfectly and felt organised.

  • I’m grateful for getting a great workout in today.

  • Thankful that my dear mother is surrounded by family. It also made me think about what life might look like for us when we reach that stage.

What would it take for both you and me to wake up tomorrow feeling 10 times stronger, bigger, muscular, more energetic, confident, happy — to rise early, have a great workout, see everything going well with family, friends, and everyone around us — and then have a relaxing, relaxing, relaxing yet a productive day tomorrow?
